mick garner
Hi all, Are we an independent group or are we going to represent the Eastern area of the MVT. It's just if we do represent the MVT then they will probably help us out with our committee meetings and the legal side of things when setting up events and shows. cheers, Mick. tyler
Hi All, well its the penultimate evening before the draw for the name of the club, so any other names for the club before the draw at 7pm tomorrow? These are what have been suggested so far: Dirty Dozen EMVC = Eastern Military Vehicle Club. EMVG = Eastern Military Vehicle Group. MEGA's = middle eastern green and sand Eastern Bloc Heads EMMA = Eastern Military Machines Association Hi Mick, I would have thought a club/group the size of the MVT would have started a representative group for the Eastern areas by now if they thought there was enough intrest, but I will contact them and others for some advice. Thanks. Tyler.

Richard Grosvenor
Tyler, Are you going to get a minor celebrity to do the draw and broadcast it live via webcam? Regards Richard ( I think Eamon Holmes is available  )
tyler
Hi Richard, I was thinking more along the lines of Jim Davidson  , well theres has been a bidding fernzy over the broardcasting rights at one point the bidding reached a dizzying height of £1  , next time I'll put the Rights on Ebay then they should fetch more. I think what I'll do is take pics during the momentous occation and flog them on Ebay hopefully they'll fetch a small fortune. Thanks. Tyler.
mick garner
Hi Tyler, I have to admit that TEAM is quite good The Team....sounds cool. Be good if we could stick an A between the and team. The A-Team!!!!
tyler
Hi Mick, you would have to change The in TEAM to something else begining with T, otherwise it would be "The A TEAM" = "The Amazing The Eastern Army Mob", so the name would end up something like "The Amazing Terific Eastern Army Mob" etc etc. If anyone can come up with a decent word begining with A or T then please do post it, The A???? T???? Eastern Army Mob. Thanks. Tyler.
mick garner
Hi Tyler, Atomic for the A perhaps? We should just keep it as the original TEAM don't bother including The A Team in the draw, its pretty rubbish and I was just sort of thinking back to the days of cheesy yet still quite good TV programmes. Not long now.... cheers Mick.
tyler
Hi Mick, the A Team wasn't chessy I used to watch it "maybe a it is if I watched it". Hopefully it'll get picked out the hat seing as most people like it, by the way I wont be picking the name out the hat as I have hired a impartial ajudeicator for that . Thanks. Tyler. mick garner
Hi Tyler, Thats smashing, I quite wanted TEAM to win! Now we have to move on to the aims and objectives of the group. e.g Where, when we can hold an event. People to come. What we can have there. Maybe we could meet up and talk about the aims of the group. Cheers, Mick.
tyler
Hi Mick, TEAM was on my top three favourite surrgestions, so yeh its good that it was one people liked and meams we can get going on the rest of the club issues, like places for shows etc. Thanks. Tyler.
Richard Grosvenor
Oh good, I liked TEAM the most aswell! The A Team would have been quite cool, but Tyler would have had to paint his Shorland black with a red stripe and we'd all have had to burst out of the back when we got to a show! Regards Richard (I ain't gettin` on no plane, fool! )
