chevpol Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 Morning all, just a quick question, were WC52/53 Dodges ever issued to British units during WW11? I know they were supplied to Russia. Simillary, apart from Dizzy T, Sherman etc, were any other US vehicles? woa2 Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 A couple of years ago I went to a lecture given by a WW2 cameraman who was in the Far East, and American vehicles, especially Jeeps and Dodges, were common. British vehicles were rare in the films he showed. Also, I have seen Dodges in British services in Italy in photos.
