Poptopshed Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Looks like the Militant Men are going to start 2008 with a bang. Anyway can a none running mk2 432 still be steered or assist steering by using the standard control levers or is it a case of dragging it with hollybones? Cheers Jon. Quote

Jon, It should be able to as the tillers are only operating a mechanical band brake. Using a Hollebone would be better though. Richard Quote
Poptopshed Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Cheers Richard, We look set to be moving a dead Stolly which we are used to but it currently has 6 flat tires to make things interesting and a fire damaged 432 so Hollebones will be used where we can but its good to know that we can have some steering assistance if needs be. Hope to get some good pictures. Quote

No problems, my dad towed his home behind a tractor when it broke down in the middle of town a few years back, he reckoned it towed really well. Baz Quote
Poptopshed Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 Just got home after a long day playing. :-D The owner managed to get it running so the loading/moving was easy in the end. The Stolly is another story though. Just sorting pics so will probably post more tomorow. Jon. Quote
