boristhepig Posted July 10, 2023 Share Posted July 10, 2023 Hi I have been offered what appears to be a 1958 nylon tool carrier with a trails entrenching tool? I have been collectecting for over 30 years and have never seen the entrenching tool before, and only ever one picture of the carrier in the book Modern British webbing Equipment by Simon Howlett. Where it is described as a respirator case, as you can see from the pictures it is marked as Carrier, Entrenching,Tool Several pictures show a standard sized entrenching tool at the top for comparison Has any one come across this tool and carrier and are they as rare as hens teeth, or is it just I haven't seen them?
