MIKES
Just wondering if anyone recognises this as a military vehicle tool. It's about 9" overall length. There are no visible markings on it. I found it in part of a tidy-up of a lot of old tools but don't want to throw it if it is of interest. Thanks. 20230515_161917.mp4
0 fv1609
I have looked through the Vocabulary of Army Ordnance Stores. Section F1 Hand Tools. 1944. It is fully illustrated but I'm afraid I can find nothing that resembles that interesting device.

Afraid not Adrian it is quite a fat book, but if there are any particular tools of interest I can scan those pages.

0 fv1609
This VAOS volume is quite big but only covers these Sections: E3 Lifting & transporting gear F1 Hand tools G1 Ironmongery J1 Camp equipment G1 is quite small I have its modern equivalent Catalogue of Army Ordnance Stores Section G1 and that now runs to three ring binders.
