Ron
I don't think Stuart will be able to help much. Here is my Big 4 with original restored body. I have quite a few drawings with dimensions. The timber used was hardwood, what I'd call "one inch prepared" so actually 7/8" thick. PM me with your email address and i'll send them to you. Bless your dad for still having a go at 88👍 Ron Edited July 19, 2019 by Ron
radiomike7
That's nice Ron, does it have the drive to the sidecar wheel?
Ron
Oh yes, for sure! I've been getting these parts made for well over 20 years and sent all round the World. Sadly my engineer is retiring this month, so the last parts have just gone off to Australia, New Zealand and Malta. I have all the drawings, but doubt I'll find anyone at his prices? 79x100
Ron, you really should go off-roading with the SWD Big 4. I'm an experienced passenger who doesn't mind getting muddy Just give me a shout 🙂

Jon Cull
Some very nicely made parts there, always good to see. Its a good job I don't have a Big 4 or I'd be having to add a chair with a driven wheel !

Ron
Unfortunately my engineer retired and I haven't found anyone else prepared to make one offs or small batches at anything like he used to charge me. I do have his workshop drawings though. Ron
