Transfix Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Morning All, My names Richard Baker, I'm based in Cape Town, South Africa - thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I wanted to ask for information please, I have what is purported to be a zero hours (it still has the original paper blocking the various pipes from the rebuild) 1944 dated rebuilt tank engine. I was wondering if any forum members might be able to identify what tank it may have been from along with the sort of value such an engine might realise. With thanks and kind regards, Richard Quote

Adrian Barrell Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 M3 light tank used a 7 cylinder W-670 radial of 250 hp. Sherman used a 9 cylinder R975 of 400 to 440 hp. Quote
