Tony B Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Hang on, why buy a DUKW and not take it out in the rain? Might it get wet? Still with this summer it is a good choice. Vist the Medway, before it visits you. Thames River Authority do actually licence DUKWS. You get the lock pass and everything. It has to have a name though, which must be displayed. I believe this was the findings of the USA inquiry into the sinking and loss of life of one on one of their lakes. (me dad was an instructor on these fine beasties, late 40's, and its his pet chant.............although also the truth.)
