andym
Can anyone recommend someone with a lowloader who would be able to ferry some FV430s from one location in Devon to another about 30 miles away? Andy
w896andy
I've used a company called Towens in Weston Super Mare a couple of times, not exactly in Devon but if you can't get anybody closer then they are not that far away. Towens run trucks moving spoil and hardcore around but also have a 44 ton low loader for moving their own machines, they will hire it out by the mile and don't charge a fortune, they have moved an Autocar for me previously from Wiltshire so are happy to do a one off move. Surveyor
Have you looked at the plant hire companies or those who are into the building industry, they may have one to hire
Richard Farrant
Can anyone recommend someone with a lowloader who would be able to ferry some FV430s from one location in Devon to another about 30 miles away? Andy Hi Andy, This company transported some vehicles down to W&P last week, http://www.nicksampson.com/ They are from Barnstaple. No connection, but saw them unload and reload, remembered where they came from.

I've used Nick Sampson - as you say, Barnstaple firm - found them to be good and reliable - happy to recommend them from experience. Tim I'm sure I've read about these in one of the trucking mags, an impressive array of services looking at the website.
