Has any restoration work been done at Longues Battery?, in 2004 they were collecting money to start restoration. Heard about the sad death of that guy while in Normandy 2004 but rumour had it then that he was driving a weapons carrier, where did it happen? He drove his Dodge Ambulance and a guy (British) drove into the left backside with 150km/h causing the Ambulance to roll over. He was thrown out after which the ambulance rolled over him.
