0 arcot1751 Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 I bought an old garage oil pump from a autojumble cleaned it out and refilled it with fresh oil and it works a treat. Long hose with a thin nozzle so easy to get in to filler, two or three pumps job done and no hanging upside down with oil pouring down your arm Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thread the hose from the gearboy past a pedal or such into the body, attach funnel, tie it down and pour small amounts of oil in the funnel checking regularly if it overflows the gearbox . On my 43 GPW, it has an early right hand fill T-84 transmission, and in through the top is the only sensible way to do it. For everything else I have an oil syringe.
