WCMatt
Hello List! Does anyone on here know right off hand what the B60 out of a ferret weighs? I'm talking about the complete engine as lifted out of the rear of a ferret Mk.1/2 scout car. How about the transmission? Thanks. Matt According to the book "In National Service" the Rolls Royce B Series in British Military Vehicles by Pat Ware, the installed weight (dry) is 372 kg. or 818 pounds, unfortunately there is no weight given for the gearbox. I hope that this helps.
WCMatt
Johnwardle Yes that does help. Thanks. I have to load both up into the 8ft. bed of a Ford F350 next Tuesday. Matt
