Snapper
Hello chaps. A boatyard near me seems to have acquired a Stolly to go with a Bv206 and a M2B bridging unit. Any of the Essex wing know anything about it? I'll go for a mooch over the weekend. Steve the yard owner is a real character, so I'll ask him if I get the chance. ian2b
Well with nothing better to do with my time I took a drive to the boat yard and got some pics of the stolly. I spoke to a guy there not the owner and he said it was up for sale at £5500, they have only had it around 4 weeks and decided its now not what they wanted. The good news is its fitted with a cummins diesel and runs, drives and stops but I have now noticed from the pics that it has no number plates on it so I dont know if its road registered. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/26052007007.jpg[/img] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/26052007011.jpg[/img] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/26052007010.jpg[/img] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/26052007009.jpg[/img] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/26052007003.jpg[/img]

Snapper
FAST work Ian. I was driving by on the way to the Tip and saw the Sandwich Marina logo but had no chance to post. The yard owner there is really keen for a decent sized amphib, hence the M2B. He had it out on the water on a day I couldn't get down there. The Bv206 is very handy on the mudflats - but haven't seen it in use. I thought the Stolly looked tidy. But I am clueless. Is £5500 a good price for such a beast??? Hope someone take it to a good home.
ArtistsRifles
Looks like a nice Mk1 - £5500 seems a reasonable price too!!!
