andym
Does anyone know the the history of Abbot 02SP65 currently for sale on Milweb? It says that it's an early prototype ex-army museum, but the VRN is wrong. The twelve Abbot prototypes were in the series 03DAXX, this looks more like a vehicle from Chertsey used for development purposes. It also has a very unusual colour scheme! http://www.milweb.co.uk/classifieds/large_image.php?ad=76199&cat=1 Andy

andym
Thanks Wally, some digging around on the 'net suggests it was at Shrivenham in the 1980s and sold by Marcus Glenn around 2011 when it was looking rather sorry for itself. Someone has spent some time and effort in the meantime. It's now apparently sold with a live gun, by the way. Andy
