Ian L
could somebody help me with the shade of colour for the Austins engine? Thanks Hi Radek my Austin K5 engine has never had a postwar rebuild so is in its original green, after fitting a new cylinder head I touched it up in the pre 62 light MOWOG green. This guy & several other sellers on ebay do the MWOG green but you need to PM them for the lighter shade http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Engine-Paint-Green-High-Temp-Brush-on-Austin-Morris-BMC-Rover-/151884283123?hash=item235d023cf3:g:lrwAAOSwdvpWD56B Please don't paint it in the post war rebuild colour of 'eau-de-nil' yuck :nono:
Sean N
Originaly was the engine sky blue. Radek, from the photo that looks as though the original colour for that engine was deep bronze green or mid bronze green. The MOWOG green Ian refers to is mid bronze green.
