I took the advice from an 'old soldier' on here and did a colour photocopy and laminated it. 11 out of 10 police officers would never know the difference :police:

You must hae the words COPY OF ORIGINAL on it or you could get in trouble

Just asking out of curiosity here.

Whats the procedure if a weapon was deactivated abroad??

Is a foreign deact cert valid in the UK or would it have to pass through a UK proof house to be re-certified???

No & Yes

No - nothing planned! :-D

Just that I was talking to a friend from the old days who now lives down in Oz and who is a copper about the topic. The conversation triggered the dreaded curiosity bug hence the question.

Was I actually planning something - then I' know where I can get the 14.5mm KVPT and a pair of the 7.62mm PKT's for the OT-90.

Live and at silly prices in comparison to Brens and GPMG's/Vickers.

But I ain't that stupid despite appearances to the contrary!! :-D :-D :-D
