simon jameson
Hi all, Hope someone can help, I'v just taken delivery of a Scammell S26 SLDT today. Can someone give a step by step procedure for engaging the PTO hydraulics please, had a couple goes tonight but cant get the hiab to work, skip/tipper body and clam shell bucket has been removed, the instruction sticker on the dash is worn and I cant make out all the wording. simon jameson
Sorted it now, didn't realize that on the control panel there was a little flap type switch closest to drivers seat that you have to pull up to engage PTO :nut: I'l have a full test run/play tomorrow. simon jameson
Not sure of the Auto box ones but the manual box cruise at approx 40/47 balls'd out, there is a thread on hear about fitting the larger 1600-20 tyres/wheels to gear them up a bit, I might try the 1600-20 wheels off the Foden some time and see what she's like pulling on the hills round here and for cruise speed.
