0 REME 245
They must presumably be standard Lucas items. Try someone like the Green Spark Plug Company.
0 Richard Farrant
They must presumably be standard Lucas items. Try someone like the Green Spark Plug Company. Not sure it was a Lucas flywheel mag, think it might have been a Wipac or Wico-Pacy. Not go a parts list unfortunately.
0 Tony B
It's my bitsa unit. The engine bit is Chore Horse the points etc are BSA. The face plate fits both but the position of componets and the magnets on the flywheel pice are in diffrent places. The points are opening then sticking, then working again , when they feel like it. I'll post some pictures and see if anybody recognises them. Thanks for help I'll try both places.
0 REME 245
From memory although I have not seen them for some time I think my spare ones are in a Lucas Box. I plan to visit my garage this weekend if that is any good.
0 mogmaner
If the points are sticking you may find that fiber bush has swelled due to oil contaminatin ,The points should open just befor top dead center . Try cleaning the points pivit with fine wet and dry.
0 Tony B
Might well be the fiber brush! Is it essential?
