44GPW
Hi guys, bit of a delayed post due to personal problems, but my MW made it to Normandy last June following its purchase and work carried out at the beginning of June 2011. Most of the work was cosmetic, cab and seat Canvas were replaced, passenger windscreen glass, handbrake gator, data plates restored, but also the complete wiring loom, both manifolds and Carb to the correct wartime set up and two rear tyres and new exhaust. Here it is pictured on Gold Beach with the Jeeps that we went with and also a nice "Then and Now" shot taken at Villers Bocage. All the way there and back and only a blown headlamp bulb to report. Richard.

monty2
I'm not surprised. My experience with MWD's, has always been good, over about 20 years I traveled with the Charterhouse one on regular bases through UK and Europe. Better fit of engine to weight of the vehicle compare to QL Peter http://www.milmarket.org
