rippo
Hello Paul, Not to sure what the tailboard is, but i'd give my back teeth for the rubber bump stop of it!!! the rubber bump stop is off the tool box, or two gallon can holder. fayjo56
Hmmm, I wonder what the tooth fairy pays for back teeth these days:D Do you mean the box under the rear side? Why would it have a bump stop?
rippo
Hello, Yeah the toolbox and can holder each have one on. They line up with the plates on the tailboard, and act as a bump stop when the tail board is down. The later MW's have a spring on the plate and a piece of wood instead of the rubber. If you zoom in on the picture above you can see them quite clearly. the picture below has the wrong ones on. Something else for your lad to look for at beaulieu. matman41
Hi Fayjo56, what is the width of the tailboard?? :-)
Lauren Child
It's a pure guess but I'd say it's from a Bedford RL. The round cut holes look approximately the same spacing and size as the ones in the flatbed for tie down points.
