redneck
Grandfather took these during his service. Might be of interest to some. I believe these are from the North Atlantic run. I'm sure I should know this one but I haven't done any research at all yet. Likewise this one This one however does have some identification on the back, HMS Premier, I'm really not sure how this managed to land though, one very very lucky pilot. reverse of picture and a link to the tale of HMS Premier http://www.royalnavyresearcharchive.org.uk/ESCORT/PREMIER.htm hope you enjoy. Enigma
Very interesting pics. Is the first one a cruiseliner? It has a gun on the aft deck.
RAFMT
Image 1 appears to be RMS Queen Mary Image 2 is V/W class Destroyer originally completed in 1919.
Iain Crosbie
Not the Queen Mary, the stern is wrong for that. The picture could be taken in the Clyde with Holy Loch in the background.

redneck
Image 2 is V/W class Destroyer originally completed in 1919. It looks like it, if only the number was visible to find out which one. Thanks very much.
Tony B
Pennant numbers were often removed by censor. I do like the optomist stnding to the front of the aircraft with a hand held extingusher.
