Tony B
It was mentioned to me today that I could put a resovoir in Katy's vacum wiper system to even up the action. Has anyone done such a thing and how would you go about it?
0 retriever
Bedfords had a vaccuum tank it helps but still not big enough for hills or constant wide throttle open.

0 Tony B
Thanks John. I'd rather leave her as original as possible, but Saftey First!
0 Tony B
You could always fit a landrover electric wiper motor 6 volt is the problem there. Also the ambulance has a single hole for fixing. The Land Rover type work perfectly well on the 12 volt weapons carrier.

They used to work well but the one way valve has become a two way valve and needs replacing. Not that I need wipers when on the road Andy

Depends on where the holes are in the top of the windscreen. Do get the Top Hat to go on the arms, this allows modern arms and blades to fit. http://www.british-car-part-restoration.com/lucas_wiper_motors.html
