Big ray Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Over two seasons running, towing and low gear parade driving, I've returned an average of 10.7 mpg. On a tank to tank refill I've achieved 12.9 mpg. No I dont coast down all the hills. The trick is in the gearbox...use it. The trick is really in the throttle......... dont use it...... low reving and feathering the throttle will give you the best mpg, amazes me how many people thrash a jeep up through the gears ......... big engine, 2.2 ltr... does`nt need it.:cool2: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
