Caddy
Good evening all, I've recently come across this site and found it interesting. Been a member of the Duxford Aviation Society (for my sins?) for nearly a year. I've found myself working on the Cent Mk3 down there, and I'm help g a friend rebuild the meteor that's got a couple of issues. Are there any other MVW'ers on here? All the best Paul

Caddy
Thanks all, I'm thinking about starting a thread (probably entitled the never ending Cent mk3 restoration), about the work I (and others), have done on the Mk3 at Duxford. We're currently working on the main engine, would this be of interest? It'll be a dragnet moment (just the facts ma'am). Cheers Paul
andym
Sounds an excellent idea to me! Andy
XM496
Hi Paul, there's some exceptional work being done at Duxford, pleased to discover you're part of it. My project is the RAF Transport Command Bristol Britannia at Cotswold Airport (probably known to most people here as RAF Kemble). You're very welcome to have a look if you're ever in our neck of the woods. Cheers, Bryan
Caddy
Cheers Bryan, I could well be interested in coming over and as me and my friends haven't yet explored your area on bikes yet I think I've just found our next trip (in spring time though). I do enjoy going down and seeing what my 'Air' cousins are getting up to, for starters it's usually quite a bit cleaner than our end. Duxford is well worth a visit over the next few months as IWM London is having a re-vamp. A lot of their exhibitions are being temporarily stored at Duxford, and some item will be on permanent exhibition like the Jag Panther (think I spelt it right).
