matchlesswdg3
Has anyone ANY idea of a fair price for a genuine 1939 military Austin 8 Tourer in very good running nick? This one is show quality. It's offered at a price that seems fair set against things like Jeeps - but its still a lot of money and its nice to have some idea of what its cash-in value might be should the rent man come calling! They are rare beasts so there is practically no recent history for amything this straight and genuine. Perhaps the Austin Tilley sets some sort of benchmark price, but they seem rarely to come up for sale either! Any ideas welcome. Cheers! Tony B
Best bet is classic car magazine. They used to do a price range guide. Tilleys make around the £5 to 7000 mark. But as usuaul , what are you prepared to pay and what will the seller expcet. 1939 Wolsleys in running but cometically rough go for about £2000. Top rate about £5000
