introduction Another RB44 owner

Hi

A quick intro, I've been looking at Russian trucks for a few years now but never quite managed to get one, too many other projects:laugh:

 

Just recently decided to get a truck, but nothing eastern block quite fitted my requirements, so despite the naysayers and rumours I got myself an RB44.:red:

 

Now I've got it, I plan to make a camper out of it but try and retain the military look of it.

getting parts for Russian trucks is probably easier (and cheaper) but most of them look like they probably drink more

 

after a pair of '44 t/box brackets, if you come accross any :-D

Looks like I need some new uj's for the prop shafts myself.

Have you tried Crouch recovery as he seems to have a few breaking.

I have tried CR but waiting for them to sell another t/box as the price to supply a pair of hanger brackets last month included the labour to remove the box itself - a little off-putting :-D
