Ancient cars and vehicles in France

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

My husband and I are enjoying our retirement in rural France. Clive enjoys the challenge of man v machine and I just enjoy the drive!

We are members of some "Classic & Vintage" Clubs here and assist our fellow members who do not speak English. We have already sorted out a Tilly (I hope to post some photos soon) and now I am on the trail of someone to replace or rebuild Rudge wire wheels (815 x 105) for a 1915 Peugeot 174S.

Whilst I realise this vehicle is outside your main interests, I am wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction?????

Hope to hear from someone soon....

Welcome Stella. What area are you in, there are French members who may be able to help.

Hi Tony

Wow, thanks for the speedy reply!

We are between Limoges and Perigueux, (SW France).

Our friend Patrick is currently seeking his Rudge wheels in USA (unsuccessfully so far) .. but, as it is an English company, I would have thought we could locate something closer to home.

All help gratefully received...:nut:

regards

Stella
