Tony B
Just tok the dizzy cap off and rotoe arm. Underneath covering the points etc is a metal plate with like a large flower rivited on top. I've not seen this before , but it don't want to come out. Is it a push fit or screw and any advice please.
0 Nick Johns
It is a push fit into the distributor, probably just stuck if not been removed for years
0 Tony B
Thanks Nick. I'll try running the engine up and pulling it out when warm. I don't know what the Norwegians used for rust and waterproofing but you could tar the road with it!
