woa2 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Quick question for you. My youngest daughter Sarah wants to go on my Insurance for my MVs now she is 25. She passed her driving test in 2004 and has a B and B1 on her license. Question is, can she drive my WOT2 on the road? It is 2465KG gross according to my Log Book. The WOA2 is easier as it is just classed as a car. Anyone with the knowledge help me with this question? Quote
Tony B Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) It's the old pre 1960 comercial etc.... The best people to ask are your insurance company, they are normally well clued up as to why they can't insure. A driving instructor might know. DVLA will probably depend on who you get at the time. Might be worth a written enquiry though, then if they say yes and you get strop in the future wave the magic paper. Theres the page: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/WhatCanYouDriveAndYourObligations/DG_4022499 The WOT's definitley aint cars. Also under 3.5 tons gross, no problem according to the wordage. Edited March 31, 2012 by Tony B Quote

Tony B Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 I hear you, I made quite sure Miss was not looking over my shoulder... which reminds me I must change Jag mirror she left on an oncoming caravan! Better than leaving a caravan on the mirror! Mind you Sons can be just as bad. As when mine had to move a land Rover three feet and nearly took out my Dodge WC51!!!! I was stuck to the spot and speechless, so he had time to run. Quote
Lauren Child Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) Are you sure...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39qdhbkTko4 :-D What a load of rubbish. Embroidery and kittens are the very essence of motoring. Just look at this kitten fixing the string. http://icanhascheezburger.com/2007/10/05/can-someone-hand-me-the-12mm-socket/?utm_source=embed&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=sharewidget They're good with armour as well Don't believe they're powered by embroidery?
