Ian L
Both rear hubs/brakes have been shotblasted & overhaulded, front brakes are just about to get the same treatment.

Grasshopper
From memory the front hubs take 2lbs of grease (depending on whether Tractor or Rzepa joints). I recall it being a very messy job cleaning them out and re-greasing them!

Lauren Child
The radiator is in pretty poor condition so if anyone can help with parts or advise or even a better rad. Anglia Radiators in Cambridge have been recommended to me several tines. I used them earlier in the year but haven't had the chance to test the results yet.
Great War truck
Great to see the cab coming together. I must stop by sometime and say hello as I have not been to see the Matadors for a year although I drive by almost every day.
mammoth
Great work. I don't suppose you have drawings of the cab components? My radiators have cast iron top and bottom tanks so have not suffered in the same way. Your core looks to be in very good condition so it is a case of either finding replacement tanks or getting new ones cast using the oldies as patterns (allowing for shinkage). Ian L
Scott's making up a new air tank using the original ends, heavy external corrosion was evident after shot blasting. Most of the rear of the vehicle has heavy salt corrosion following its years as a snow plough/gritter.
Ian L
Scott's made good progress over the Christmas/newyear period with the nearside of the cab, its in far better condition than the drivers side but still required a full stripdown.
