Great War truck
There is an Albion gearbox for sale on Australian E Bay. It looks like it is off an A10, but i am sure i can be corrected on that by a certain A10m owner. Also possibly suitable for anybody restoring a chain drive lorry at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320841780807&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en I thought i would post it here rather than in the for sales as the WW1 truck restorers are more likely to spot it. Charawacky
This is the same one as advertised on Pre-warcar.com early September 2011 see post 7 thread 'Albion A10 wagon?'. So, no takers then, may be sold at a reasonable price on e-bay, minimum price looks reasonable if someone has a use for it. Getting it home should be OK, I know some people who have occasionally shipped containers of old car parts and may still be doing so. 8_10 Brass Cleaner
Wouldn't that do for Dan's Halley?
Minesweeper
Wouldn't that do for Dan's Halley? If Dan does want to go for it, I know of somebody who wants to bring another chassis back from Australia and would like to share the costs of a container with somebody else......... Minesweeper
Seems like a tremendous amount of money - but must be very rare now and worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it. It would be interesting to know where it is going and what it is to go in. Hopefully, another old lorry. Tony
