Zero-Five-Two Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 Oliver Cromwell went there as well, but they wouldn't let him in. He, and his men laid seige but to no avail. The castle has its own internal water supply. After the war he ordered that the tower walls be thinned out from the inside so that it could never be defended like that again.
