Can you 'Tax' an exempt vehicle on-line ?

Just had a bit of a panic, 'Log book' arrived no dramas, but no reminder has arrived as yet an the tax disc runs out at the end of July. I have been using the on-line facility for a few years to re-tax my import truck, just wondered if you could do the same with an exempt truck ?:blush:

at present i've only got the two tax exempt motors on the road (both civvy landrovers) but i always try to use the post office to tax them, i do this on the basis that the PO still gets some revenue for issuing it, hopefully this will help in keeping the PO in business and hopefully my folks that live in a village won't lose thier PO

 

the second reason is i get no discount on a pay for disc if i tax online so my thought is stuff the dvla they can keep sharing the money around

 

i will eventually have a third landrover on the road, ex-mil New Zealand "Skippy"
