David Molyneux Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 Among the many items of Ground Servicing Equipment for the Jupiter missile was a "Transporter - Liquid Oxygen". This was a long cylindrical tank trailer with a twin wheeled two axle bogie. I believe this vehicle was also used in the UK in support of the Thor missiles. In RAF service it was used with a Leyland tractor unit. I am aware of the photo on the rafmtd site. Can anybody provide further details - official designation, manual references, dimensions etc?
