90th Anniversary of the battle of the Somme

Today attended the above function....not many vehicles as such :-( but what an interesting day. Up on the old earth works known as Old Sarum, the Great War Society had a British WW1 encampment, a German bunker and section of trench, a display of vickers M.G. section and a promise of a ariel dogfight too good to miss i thought.

just a few of the pictures i took. apparently the flying display was drastically altered due to the weather (windy) conditions
