Diesel demon Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 I did, some time ago ask the question about using my 432 for hire and reward and received some humurous and a few overly serious replies....thanks to everyone who tried to help. I have now succesfully found an insurer who is willing to insure the vehicle for hire and reward The insurance covers every legality from SDP to public liability, shows, just about anything realy and for those of you, who ime sure are dying to know the cost...it's £5000 per annum. Why?....you may ask yourselves would I want to do such a thing, its a business venture as simple as that..Weddings, proms, you know the sort of thing, and ime legaly covered and will sleep sound in the knowledge that I am within the law and roadworthy :-) For the cost of a spare pack and a tank of fuel I might even tell you how to do it :cool2: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is the cost of being in business. Have you had any luck getting licensed . I would also take caution as by the letter of the law the 432 is overwidth . Driving straight into the places were vosa haunt may bring the 432 to the attention of the authorities and you may have your registration retracted. worst still we all could have our registration retracted on our 432's. Please dont think i am been negative as I am the worlds worst for bending the rules but unfortunately these days you just cant run vehicles unlicensed. especially a vehicle that will stand out like a dogs di-k. Quite correct to be cautious but lets not get into another round of "is it legal" over the width issue... it's up to the individual to make sure their vehicle is fully legal & check with the relevant authorities, but just remember if anyone gets caught with a vehicle that is not legal for whatever reasons it affects us all...
