Chinese J-10 fighter

This is a clip of Chinese Air Force J-10 fighters from the BBC.

Thet claim they were totally developed and built in China.

However I think they do bear a bit of similarity to the Eurofighter Typhoon.

Which in turn bears an uncanny resemblance to the Saab "Gripen" :):)

Probably a matter of convergence of design -there is quite a bit of MIG aircraft style in there too, although in the past BAE- have had connections with PRC as did Vickers before they merged -notably the reworking of the 531 series APCs. The BBC thing was quite a PR job though- I can't see any other reason in designing a multi-role combat aircraft other than to dominate the aerial battlefield:nut:
