wildside
This is an 1915 albion W O S truck that i found that had been converted to a trailer and i saved it from the cutting torch with minutes to spare. I would love to know where it is now and if it ever got finished as i sold it on due to other commitments. Sorry the picture is not very good. I also know of a very early morris chassis converted to a trailer and that one has the diff in it which i understand is very rare.
Minesweeper
Did it still have the original engine and rad when you found it. We were offered an early Albion chassis some years ago, but it had a much later engine and rad on it. I think it was living over Gloucester way at the time. wildside
the radiator came from st austell in cornwall and looked like the original so i fitted it the engine was a large sidevalve of unknown make with a three speed gearbox not the original i made a lot of enquires about engines etc and there were some originals that could be bought in australia but the cost of them and the shipping was very prohibitive i would of needed to remortgage my house.......... but i hope that it is still about and not gone to china. lynx42 Rick Cove
Hope it has been saved. The radiator is not 1915. It looks too tall and the motif is wrong. The wheels seem to be a bit taller and more narrow than mine. Do you have any other photos? Regards Rick
