Waterproofing canvas...

WAR PAINT from RR Services. This has a colour pigment and will shade faded canvas back to OD. It also waterproofs of course. Fabsil is good but clear and Brickseal is cheaper.

War paint is about £18.50 for 2.1/2 ltrs and you will need 2 or 3 for the 353. Just done the Jeep canvas so if you can hang on till I see you next you can judge for yourself.

Interesting Kewelde, I tried to obtain some last year and contacted Grangers direct, they said it was no longer available, perhaps this was because they manufacture for outsourcing. Good stuff all the same.

An after thought on Fabsil for those intending to use it, beware of glued seams or repaired patches, Fabsil will unstick them, and at £35;00 a gallon it could be expensive.
