FridgeFreezer
Someone posted this on LR4x4 so I thought I'd share in case anyone on here may recognise/know the chap: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8343697.stm The description sounds like it could be a military landy. ArtistsRifles
I sincerely hope it's not someone from the MV scene!! Report says "The vehicle used by the man had a canvas roof and the spare wheel attached to the rear is described as having a cover bearing an eagle design." Not many, if any soft-top Military Landies had the spare wheel on the rear!!!
snowtracdave
Rear mounted spare and the Eagle emblem sounds rather more like it could have been a Jeep . Lets hope the b'stard is caught quickly whatever the vehicle was .
LarryH57
I agree - Its not common for a Military Land Rover to have a rear mounted Spare wheel - I think they mean a Land Rover Discovery or Range Rover As you can image vehicle types would not have been high on the victims thoughts and anyway the public call Land Rovers 'Jeeps' and Cherokee Jeeps are mistaken for Land Rovers. Rest assured its not an MV enthusiast!
