blazerman Posted September 3, 2009 Author Share Posted September 3, 2009 yes they are phoenix caissons made up outer harbours at normandy 54 where planned for omaha and 108 for the british at arromanches it took 20,000 men and 660,000 tons of concrete to construct. the ones it seems got left behind spung leaks .
