  10. It's part of my job to write Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs) for my HGV fitters at work, I haven't written any for my hobby but follow the same procedures to keep safe - I've seen the effects of unsafe working and would rather the job take longer but be safe 👍

  12. Got my re cut & one minor repaired tyres from ATS today, £50 for their handy work on top of the original Fleabay cost of £150 for the three tyres. I now have these three as spares (with two inner tubes) along with the one already on a rim on the back deck. Even managed to claw back £18 by towing a Lexus & Civic out of bother with my van on the way home 👍

  15. I think Richard's nailed the answer! I'll try a photograph it when it's been parked more 'adventourusly' as it has been in the past, this photo is quite tame by comparison
  16. Only ever done it myself when using the shovel to scrape ice off a yard, like you say - never parked one like this before for the reason you mention
