  3. wot o N.O.S, it is an original fitment mostly supplied to the RAF for repairing airfields, there is a small write up in the late mike connifords military vehicle pamphlet number 3 austin k6 but it does t say how many were built of this variant, hope this helps

  7. wot o tony, the k3 is actually a k6 with gantry and winch used by the REME and i think that it was donated to the REME by the jersey govenment and now resides at arborfield REME museum, i think mr farrant could confirm this regards

  10. wot o david, you ll be busy next year breakfast cooking on one trailer and roast dinner on the other cant help with storage, what about borrowing 14 or 16 foot ifor williams trailer and bringing them home together if they have a fork lift their end :cool2: regards
  11. wot o jack, i was brought up in a small village in sussex and my first memories of the word bocage is reading BATTLE magazine in the early 70s and the story D DAY DAWSON. but as to wether my family or locals used the word bocage the answer is no we used spinney (small wood, thicket ) or copse (small wood of underwood and small trees grown for periodical cutting (coppiceing ) regards
