  17. So a good pressure washing of each section inside and out , would you then be painting the interior side? or applying a water proofing to the exterior before reassembling the shelter ? Nice to see another bit of History has been saved from distruction , not at all bad for a days work ...would have thought it would have taken longer .
  18. OOOOHH My, I see there is a truck under that last photo, I thought it was the hair styling of one of the newest pop diva's my mistake !!
  19. It sounds like you need to visit a proper uniform maker and get things refitted people expect you to be professional in dress and manner at all times. You can't do that if every moment your adjusting this or that or tripping over those long coat tails . And just for the record I feel the choice of long evening gloves of Deep Bronze Green pillar box red and Gold just ruin the effect of the rest of the uniform
  20. Cat are you refering to the Vehicles or the Soldiers??:-D:-D:rotfl:
  21. I wonder if originally it's placement was an attempt to keep an eye on the spare lest it get stolen, a easier thing to have happen unnoticed if stored in the rear of a vehicle. It would be an interesting test to have a number of drivers take a vehicle for a short drive then while they are away from the vehicle remove the spare and see how many notice its gone?? and at what point , approching the vehicle , seated inside or not until they are driving ?
  22. all photo's have a story to tell or have important details that can be useful to a wide number of folks , from different parts of the spectrum , vehicles , uniforms ,equipment....so post away .
  23. Great photo's must be from the 60's and 70's as anything newer the faces would be pixalated , On this side of the pond black boxing was usually only used in those naughty movies or so I have been told .
