Our first time at this show. Really impressed with the welcome and organsation, total difference to Essex MVT Show last week!!! They could learn a lot from IMPs, especially when it comes to one of the MVT's commentators, I won't name names but the public want to learn about the vehicles not who's who of local mayors! Well done IMP's and look forward to next year's event! -
David and I will be going, taking the jeep this time! Be good to meet up with other forum mebers, maybe in the beer tent?.........

We too went yesterday, attending the 8pm "service". Very moving especially when they brought in one of our injured soldiers who had lost limbs in Afganistan. Terrific cheer went up for him! There were some excellent bands and when they played Highland Cathedral, well that was very special. Would recommend it to anyone to do, we certainly will be going back again. We only had a day but managed to get to Tyn Cot, Essex Farm and Hooge crater.

Clive did say that he would have a chat with you at Guides...didn't know you were into that type of dressing up?
Joking apart, it would be ideal if you think you could do it, and would make for continuity. Perhaps you could have a chat with Clive tomorrow. We wont be there as we are in Belgium wreath laying etc. with the local British Legion.

Hi there, yes Eddie had one but it was made out of wood and converted into a table. Unfortunately he sold his Ferret last year.............still someone else in our club has now bought one, another Mark 1/2, brings the club up to 5 again!

No not for the furry kind but can anyone help. I want to put a basket on my mark 1/2 to carry more stuff. Can anyone suggest who or where I can get one. I have seen them around but haven't found anybody who can get me one! thanks

Colchester Military Festival will be taking place on Abbey Field, Colchester, Essex on the 18th July. East Anglian Fighting Vehicle Group are organising the military vehicle side of the event. We took the Ferret shopping at Tescos too. Funny, when we parked between two "normal" vehicles, the owners looked worried, mind you, you should have seen their faces when they realised it was driven by a woman!!!!! He he, I like doing that!!! As I was asked by a comentator at a show once, "how easy is it to park?", reply, very, you can park wherever you like.....

Am just collecting final numbers for next week .looks like they will be in excess of 40!! Hope the weather will be good!
I will contact Mike early next week and let him know who's coming. Have spoken to Eddie and he hasn't got a date from Terry. I suggested doing something there next year for our week end away and he thought that would be ok, so we just need to foat the idea past Terry. Perhaps we could do that next Friday if opportunity arrises?

Can I just say a very big "thank you" to all those involved for a really enjoyable week-end- well apart from Sunday!. David, myself and our dog had a great time and we really appreciated all your hard work, just really sorry that you didin't get the weather you needed to get some money in on the Sunday! (Our boots still havent dried out from gate duty yet!!!) Where are we going next??????

Evening Gareth The trip to Holland was great, actually saw a Dutch Army Ambulance in the distance! Also bought some china eggs from a windmill for my Land Army impression,yes I know I'm odd. The trouble was, I then had to explain to our Dutch friends what we do in our spare time......wonder whether we'll hear from them again......... How was France?
