  1. The 51 is still the better vehicle, and a lot less maintince, if you want a winch get a Turrfor.
  2. Now you come to mention the Saracen, I'm sure one company made a geniric 'action figure' one.
  3. More like Basildon Bond. :cool2: Anyway if an HMVF bunfight is the idea then Bunker Bash and Mayhem are much more fun.
  4. BL**DY HELL!! You are going to be popular! A whole tracked vehicle instructor to play! Form an orderly que gents, after me!:iloveyou:

    Snow..

Or bad dandruff? :-D Decisons decisons! do I take the 101 to work, and have a cab and heaters, or the Dodge and show off the hard man? Rosie, what makes you think only the Kiddies want to see it?
  6. Old Chinese proverb say: 'Never trust tehnical device where instruction manual weighs more than it'. :-D
  7. That's why it's called DYNAMIC, exhilarating risky... :-D
  8. You lot sound like you had the 'second ' generation Action Man. Some of us had the Original! There are clips of Action Man TV adverts on the net. The original stuff was very expensive but beautifully detailed. Which brings me to a book: Achtung Schwienhund! by Harry Pearson, an great light hearted romp through the military toys of our youth. :coffee:
  9. Tony has a nice Humber wireless truck at Eton.
  10. Said to Rex some years ago, 'We don't bring our vehicles all you have is a F**** great empty feild!' About time show organisers were reminded of that?
  11. Any chance of smuggling into my Christmas stocking? :flowers:
  12. And the length of a railway train! :-D
  13. Welcome Jimmy, we need a few more Dodges, plethora of ferrets turning up latley.
  14. Not only the best during Ww2! A lot of features pionnered on the Dodge can be seen in modern vehiles. The drop chassis for instance.
  15. Something is worth what you can get someone to pay for it. True with the WW2 MV's they 'aint making them anymore, but, MV as investment? No I just own mine for the fun.
  16. The only vaguley MV that I know that would fit the bill, is the Sherpa riot vehicle that Witham's were selling. basically a sherpa van on steroids. There may also be a question about persons travelling in the 'camper' part of the vehicle. Seat belts etc. The 101 ambulance may fit the bill.
  17. Give it it's due the old Ladas Mud was a good little vehicle off road in it's own right.
  18. Acepted fact that Disiels work better on misty days. I find the best is when the engine is warm the tempratue is cold and weather foggy. Intercoller is cold so larger charge to engine.
  19. Happy Christmas then! I know the feling, stopped raining after two weeks now just cold and foggy.:noyay:
  20. A hell of a lot of Ferrets! Their breeding the damm things>
  21. The lemon juice was working hard then? Loks quite repairable though. Your dry climate.. Lucky...
  22. Welcome, unfortunatley the pond is getting a bit crowded.
  23. Getting withdrawal symptoms, haven't got over this year! :argh:
