  1. I seem to have totally lost one cell. So what I'm doing at the moment is leaving it on the six volt solar trickle charger, and just forget about it. After all it is costing me nothing to run the charger. I am just checking the voltage every couple of days. Did try pouring the electrolytr out and replacing with distilled water and Magnesium sulphate. (Epsom Salts) and old trick, see if it works, so far I've lost nothing. Open circuit charge is about 4.8 volts.
  2. Why? What the hell can they do with it? Melt it down for scrap?

  9. Valhalla? Weeell, there can be a fair amount of beer drunk, and the odd few axes thrown when the Ferret owners are doing wall of death round the flowerbeds. Though we are a quite freindly bunch really.
  10. Or the original Action Man kit in it's boxes.
  11. David, While a lot of us work very closley with musuems, it depends entirley on the Curator/Manager of the establishment. Unfortunatley though an individual may be enthusiastic, go ahead and shown to be succesful, there are always those higher up the food chain with a negative attitude. Normally the ones who hold the purse strings. There is also English Heritage.....

  20. Officially both are reated at 8 mpg. Bear in mind, this is American Gallon and 80 octane . Belting around Europe, Jersey and UK, I get about 21 mpg on modern fuel, and oils, out of mine. Admittedly about 45 mph flat out, but why go to fast? Gives people time to admire the Dodge and feel jealous.
  21. Makes you wonder what the place was like on a Saturday night.:shake:
  22. There was the front end of Series 2A ex mil Landy , painted in Daktari stripes, on the basement entrance of a club in Charing Cross market.
