Thanks Wally .I'll get down to the local engineering shop and see if they have any copper pipe and olives to fit, and make up new pipe work .If they haven't any on the shelf I'll to do a temporary fix and wire it in place . I think I'll look putting a thread on it if there is enough metal there to cut . Dave
  3. Just a couple of small teething problems have arisen :cry: . Has anyone else bought one of the oil filter mod's off Chris Mortar ? reason I ask how do you keep the base of the filter housing on :-D , mine keeps dropping off ! Dave
  4. Hi Danny Managed to get under the truck today ,hope these are of some use . Ignore the pozi headed screws I ran out S/S slotted , they are to be replaced :-D Dave

  6. I have my MW ,Flea and Jeep with Adrian Flux , been with Footman james for years and found they had been charging alot more .............. thats the trouble with auto renewals never bothered checking . Give Adrian Flux a try

  9. Heres a photo of the ones we made fitted to my truck , also had some of the slotted blocks made that keep the battery cable away from the prop shaft
  10. Hi Danny The ones on the right look correct , they are the same pattern of what was left of mine, the only one that wasn't on mine is the one that is on the bottom row far right , is that for the shovel on earlier models instead of the spring clip and block ?
  11. I dont know if these people can help you , Robson and Francis 020 7733 2353 . I found them very helpful when trying to get hold of the Brushes and bronze bushes for my MW Dynamo and Starter motor , they actually made me some new ones using what was left of the old ones as patterns and had the bronze bushes on the shelf. Some small finishing jobs to do yet but took it for a run yesterday , mmm what can I say certainly different to the Jeep:-D , its a hard ride ,seemed ok engine sounds nice , don't think I want to be going much more than 35 mph though :-D It just to say fitted alongside the Jeep lol , gonna have to get this other shed up , trailer outside and motorbikes in the house
  15. Hi Jeremy Its the only pic I could find on the net of something that looked like the one I want :-D . That seems to be my problem at the minute ,where I've put some of the small bits and pieces with it being that long in doing the truck :nut: I've just had a PM from ?? :cool2: By the way that jack looks well in its slot :thanx: , good meeting up with you at Stoneleigh . I might be putting those bits up for sale soon ....Bonnet , Front Panel , Bumper and some other bits and pieces when I've sorted through what I'm keeping , struggling for space ..... the wheels are sold .   16. Just when you think your nearly there .I seem to have misplaced the slim internal bonnet spring well its the end piece I'm after but wont complain if its a complete one :-D. The piece I'm after is circled in the photo . Thanks Dave

Whereabouts are you located , I'm just finishing an MW reno and will probably have bits left over i.e Bonnet , wheel rims ,front panel (repaired) , front bumper , maybe some dashboard bits think I have NOS speedo , couple of the other gauges (to rebuild) maybe a fuel tank , possibly some other bits and pieces .I'll know better when I get everything together .   18. Hi Danny They were in place on my MW , we replaced the cable and these were a tight fit ,so didn't really need anything to hold them in place when they were re fitted. Dave
  19. Plenty of time yet :-D..............I've sent 2 enquiries rang and spoke with a guy twice that'll be over the last 3 yrs ................... still no response YET :mad: , so wouldn't hold your breath .
