  1. Thanks Sparky wondered what it was for , I've not seen them on the trucks I've looked at , and there's me thinking I had a built in picnic table :-D . Dave
  2. Sorry this is in the wrong place but cant seem to find how to post on the main chat forum . Can anyone identify what the two brackets on the front bow were used for . They fold down and look as if it could have had a fold down table fitted ? Cheers Dave
  3. I'm also after the part circled in the picture if anyone has a spare laid around , or if anyone has a distributor that is US and would like to sell it and it has the relevant bit I'll gladly buy the whole thing . Thanks Dave
  4. Hi I know it might be asking the impossible BUT :-D , What I'm looking for is ideally 4 of the single rope cleat or 2 would do for the moment and the other item is the rubber diaphragm off the horn push .I repaired a couple of splits with puncture repair patch's but unfortunately the whole thing is now falling apart . Thanks Dave
  5. I'll be up for those Jeremy :cool2:. I'm looking into getting half a dozen of the spark plug holders made out of billet aluminium from the pattern you sent over to me :-D , the one in the pic is one I had a play around with out of a piece of scrap aluminium I had laid about , the spec ones I'll be getting done will be laser cut . Dave
  6. No thanks for that , I'll have a look on their site .Hopefully they might have a pattern/picture of the plate , if not I'll have to look for a decent picture they could maybe copy from Dave

  9. Thanks for the info and photo Danny Dave
  10. Thanks for that , I would imagine they be both the same. Looking at mine I would say 3/8" on the fittings would be right once I know the pipe size I'll go to the local Plumb Center and have a rummage . Dave
  11. Nothing too technical , that's what I like to hear :-D
  12. I'll do that , leave them in some oil for a week or three , they nearly ended up halfway across the field at the back :-D
  13. Never be out of your debt Jeremy .I have a 3 or 4 in the garage but as per norm not the ones needed , think a couple off a Jeep and the others ................. haven't a clue :-D Dave
  14. Thanks Richard I'll try the local plumb center ,they should have an assortment of BSP fittings on the shelf , would 8 or 10mm suffice for the pipe work ? Thanks Dave
  15. The next job on the agenda is the piping up of the tyre compressor to the filter , can anyone tell me the size of and type of fittings required to connect these together ,if anyone has a photo of the pipe run that would be great . Thanks DXave
  16. :banghead: One step forward and two back , all the wiper system was put back together and the wiper motors don't want to play . I'm after two vacuum wiper motors if anyone has any ,or knows of someone that would like to sell two Thanks Dave
  17. Thanks Jeremy thats a big help :, I'll get down to the local engineering supply shop and get hold of some copper sheet to make the cone. Dave
  18. Thanks Jeremy thats a great help , appreciate it . I can see what I need now to make it good and how it goes together .Should be able to knock the cone up out of some thikn copper sheet and find a tapered spring of sorts. Dave
  19. Thats a big help Jeremy , thanks . Spring , Isolator and would imagine a flat washer soldered to the wire . I can go down to the local engineering supplies and have a dig around in their spring box's , if you do have a centre isolator that would be brilliant ,as that would be the hard one to sort out .You can PM me with the cost for the nut and isolator, if you still have the jack and can find a way of sending it without it being a chew on I'll pay you for the lot :-D Thanks again Dave
