  1. Hi Jeremy I really appreciate it ,that would be really helpful . it's the small finishing off bits to sort now, just about getting to the "nearly" on the road test stage :cool2: Dave
  2. Hi Does anyone know where I can find a diagram that shows the internals of an MW horn push and what parts are needed to make it complete. I have the horn push but the internals were missing from mine so I don't know what's missing or what parts are needed . A photograph would be helpful if anyone has one , I could maybe get alternate parts if original ones are not available and make it good. Thanks Dave
  3. I knocked this rough copy up last night and I'm considering getting maybe 10/12 made out of Billet Aluminium or depends on if there is a minimum order quantity .I'm just gauging if there is any interest before I go ahead and get the blanks made .I have the exact spec blank made from an MW holder to get them made off . I don't know what the cost will be to get the blanks made or how many I'll have to have done as yet , see what the interest is first . Dave
  4. Andy mines a 43 and it has the wooden blocks fitted , I've not replaced mine they are original to the truck .
  5. Thanks for the replies , tried Jeep parts but they don't have any , rang Jeffrey Eng they had some NOS for the early Distributor , luckily that's what's on mine so grabbed 3pr while he had them . Thanks again Dave
  6. Hi Anyone know of any dealers that stock the clip from the distributor , or has anyone got a couple they would like to sell . I found some in the states but unfortunately they don't export . Thanks Dave
  7. Me again , I'm after a pair of wiper arms for the MW if anyone has a spare pair for sale Thanks Dave
  8. Hello I wonder if anyone can aim in the right direction for the following parts . I'm after the studs that hold the radiator grill and canvas screen in place, the vehicle has been in bits that long can't find the damn things :undecided:, a steering wheel nut ,also the following part as in the picture for the dynamo .It's the actual fibre/mica insulators that I need but if anyone has the whole piece they would like to sell I'll take the lot :-) . Or is there a refurbisher of Dynamos who could possibly sell this part separate as the rest of the Dynamo is fine , also after the handbrake and gear lever boot , I'm sure I've seen someone making the repo's of these . I've tried Chris Mortar and Norman at Bygone Bedfords but no luck . Thanks Dave
  9. :wow: Well better go get the kneeling mat out
  10. Ah right ,did you have it done by the lads at the link above ? They did mine ,we fitted it all up with the refurbed cylinders and all seems ok , I'll find out better when I get it actually on the road and drive it in anger . The pedal on mine seems normal but I'll watch out for that . I'm sure Mike had one . Dave
  11. Hi Andy Is yours US ? or do you need another . Reason I ask, I sent mine away and had it resleeved with S/Steel and new piston etc ..................http://www.pastparts.co.uk/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=4 I think Mike Shackleton had one a while back that needed a refurb . Dave

  20. Does anyone know of a compnay that can recore/renovate an original Willys rad mine split on the top seam yesterday . I would rather have the original renovated if possable or if no one does that ,where I can get a good repo one from . Thanks Dave
  21. Is it being sold as a Willys or Ford lol .just to be a rivet counter for a change lol , 12v conversion , Solex Carb , late water pump , Willys lighting switch ,the add on indicators/sidelamps under the reflectors look crap , jubilee clips on the hoses naff , white indicator switch on the dash where the lighting switch should be ,extra long valve stems ? Top Bow thumb screws and chains missing ,chains missing off screen thumb screws , never seen an ariel mount like that one ,Ford toolbox lids , Ford crossmember so obviously a Ford . The GLOSS paint job I personally think looks rubbish ,also disapointing they never showed the bullet holes  Its an easy job to rectify the above plus a new paint job . What I do like about that Jeep is the early windscreen without the rifle holder mountings would look nice on my 42 Willys If that reaches the estimate , I'll go eat grass with the donkey lol
